HOPE Missions of the Upstate is excited to announce the launch of our newest initiative, HOPE Restart, a program designed to empower individuals who have faced life-dominating challenges to begin anew. Through intentional discipleship and dignified housing, HOPE Restart offers a Christ-centered pathway to stability and renewal.

Under the leadership of Pastor John Boyte and in partnership with The Good Shepherd’s House, HOPE Restart focuses on providing post-incarceration services, support for individuals currently in jail, and comprehensive housing and apprenticeship opportunities for those re-entering society. The program also aims to serve as an alternative for local judges, offering a structured option for those awaiting hearings or trials.

Currently, 13 participants are actively engaged in the HOPE Restart Outreach Program. A cornerstone of our approach is the identification and facilitation of placements in Christian rehabilitation programs tailored to each individual’s unique needs. This effort has fostered valuable collaborations with recovery centers and organizations, strengthening the network of support available to participants.

“Our work focuses on personalizing the journey for each participant,” said Pastor John Boyte, HOPE Restart Program Director. “Through one-on-one discipleship, regular written correspondence, and case management, we are building a foundation of hope and growth. The ongoing development of this program reflects our commitment to seeing lives transformed by God’s love.”

HOPE Missions invites the community to join us in praying for and supporting the development of HOPE Restart. Together, we are renewing lives, restoring faith, and rebuilding futures.
