The Anderson County Library’s main branch is a common destination for those escaping the heat of the summer. They have restrooms, wifi, air conditioning, and excellent staff to serve our community.
Water Bottles
We’re looking for individuals, groups, or teams to pass out water bottles in the lobby when the heat index exceeds 100 degrees. For the most part, this is between 2 and 6 p.m. We’ll update this page often as we watch the weather.
The task is pretty simple. We just need someone who is willing to smile and ask people if they want a bottle of water. HOPE Missions will supply the water bottles and wet wipes (while supplies last). Your job is to make sure bottles are distributed appropriately.
Here’s the lineup:
Date | Group ( 2-4 pm / 4-6 pm) |
Wednesday July 31 | Brenda Walker (2-4pm) Angel Willams (4-6pm) |
Thursday August 1 | Kate and Brant Elrod (2-4 pm) Sarah Crowder (4-6pm) |
Friday August 2 | Eleanor Walters (2-4 pm) Angel Williams (4-6pm) |
