God is an amazing Father and a masterful artist in how He uses every part, good and hard, of our lives to continue to create His masterpiece in us. God crossed my path with the homeless and hurting community right in the city of Anderson, where I have called home my whole life, during a time when I was hurting and lonely as well. God has used that connection to promote healing in my life and to strengthen my faith in Him and to give me a passion for the lonely, the hurting, and the “outcasts” of our community. I grew up here in Anderson and graduated from McDuffie High School. I went on to Clemson and the Medical University of South Carolina where I earned my Masters in Physical Therapy and I practiced physical therapy for 18 years. I also went to Anderson University to take course requirements for my Early Childhood/Elementary Education teaching certificate. I currently teach and coach volleyball at New Covenant School. I have been married to Chris, my high school sweetheart, for 22 years and we have 3 children, Keifer (18), Carley (16), and Katey (10). I am an active member of Grace Church Anderson. I love to play volleyball and to be outside. God continues to amaze me with His concern and involvement in every detail of my life and how He is using HOPE Missions to strengthen my walk with Jesus Christ and expand my family of faith! I absolutely LOVE the people that God has brought together as a team to be the hands of Jesus and the precious people He is crossing our paths with that are becoming our extended family.
